Clearfield, Utah- ‘Sage the Cat’ was a Utah family’s beloved pet. His life was cut short by a person at large that tortured him to death.

This story hits home for me because I happen to live in this town. I have rescued 3 cats that are a big part of my family. In the past, I have rescued a pit bull and other little critters as well. Animals are innocent and their love is unconditional, it’s a shame some people can’t see that.
The Humane Society of Utah offered a $5,000 reward for information about the person behind this. This reward has since been increased to $30,000 dollars by private donations. I’m glad to see that Utah will not tolerate this. Hopefully this large reward entice someone to turn in their sick friend. Torturing animals is a 3rd degree felony in Utah.
Donations by are being accepted by the Humane Of Utah. The reward ammount is probably going to continue to climb until the person is caught.
